Glass artists, gallery managers, academic teachers and students are welcome to participate in the Symposium.
We provide free interpreters during your stay in Lviv (English, German, French, Chinese).

Participation fees: 

• working participants – one glass art piece, created in the country of residence  
• guests – 100, - EUR
• students – free of charge 

Every participated glass artist will have the opportunity to work near the furnace with a team of two glassblowers for about three hours. We ask you to use maximum 25 kg of glass melt. We kindly ask you to provide all needful additional materials and devices for creation of your composition. Fusing, stained glass, painting and cold treatment workshops are also at participant’s disposal.

nitrate-calcium-potassium glass melt
Color glass rods and powders
The coefficient of the heat expansion: 9X10^-6 (universal standard)

One created during the Symposium art piece must be exhibited at the Final exhibition and provided by the participant as a gift for the Glass Museum in Lviv.

TRAVEL, ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

Travel, accommodation and food must be covered by the participants. In case of receiving financial support, we will cover hotel accommodation and inform you about it before June 2022.
