Student's Exhibition

Exhibition of works by students of the Glass Art Department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts

The Glass Art Department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts is the only higher education platform in Ukraine that trains glass artists. Today, more than 60 students study here at three educational levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctor of arts. Thanks to significant grant and sponsorship support during 2019-2025, students have the opportunity to work in well-equipped workshops for artistic glass processing using blown glass techniques, cold processing, kilnforming, stained glass, and painting. Since 2013, the glassblowing workshop has been the main venue for the International Blown Glass Symposium in Lviv.

The exhibition of student works at the Glass Museum is part of a project to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the LNAA Glass Art Department in 2024. Last year, the Glass Museum hosted an exhibition of works by the department's lecturers.
